Warning!</div> <bR> <div>      <B>Aeris Gainsborough, the best female character of any RPG I've seen. She's mysterious, beautiful, and, sadly, very, very dead. I know, we all hold hopes that she can be revived in the American version, but she can't. Those American rat bastards took the sequence out. The only way to get her back is with the GameShark code. And even then, you can't fight Sephiroth with her. </b></div> <div> <B>     You know, I think there's a sort of conspiracy behind this. The Yanks had time to add Ruby and Emerald WEAPON, but not her? The plot thickens...</b></div> <div> <B> </b><B> And the only reason she was killed was to create a hatred of Sephiroth...why did they do that?<IMG SRC="0bae1dd0.jpg" border=0 width="225" height="221" ALT="'What you pursue will be yours, but you will loose something dear' ~ Cait Sith's third fortune" ALIGN="RIGHT" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></b></div> <div> <B>     Anyway, to lay down my hatred of those damn Americans who screwed up, I'll tell you that Aeris has one of the most fun Limit Breaks out there. Fury Brand, which fills up everyone else's Limit Gauge, and Great Gospel, which recovers everyone's HP and makes them invincible for a while. Fun, fun, fun.</b></div> <bR> <div> <B>     </b><B>"What you pursue will be yours. But you will lose something dear."</b></div> <div> <B>                         ~ Cait Sith, the third fortune.</b></div> <bR> <div> <B>     Cait foretells on at least two occasions something happening with Cloud and Aeris. The first is when you meet him, the third fortune he gives you. The second is in the Temple of the Ancients, when he says "Cloud and Aeris' stars will be together" (or something, once I once again reach that part I'll fix it). The first is obviously Cloud's (supposed!) victory against Sephiroth, but at a price, the next rather unclear. Will Cloud and Aeris be united in death?  Will Aeris return? These questions are on everyone's mind when they play the game. Some evidence for Aeris' return are:</b></div> <div> <B>1: Cait Sith's fortune in the Temple.</b></div> <div> <B>2: After Disc One, when the whole party is visible, there's space for Aeris.</b></div> <div> <B>3: Aeris asks Cloud if he'll take her on the Highwind someday, and there is room on the bridge for her.</b><B><IMG SRC="2834bf80.jpg" border=0 width="331" height="248" ALT="Aeris in front of the Highwind, at a time she never saw it...Aeris saw the Highwind at sunset..." ALIGN="LEFT" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></b></div> <div> <B>4: Numerous little screw-ups, if you happen to possess the GameShark code to revive Aeris. On the Great Glacier, when you fall off the snowboarding cliff, Aeris is there!</b></div> <div> <B>5: The most damning evidence of all: In the final FMV, Cloud falls off a ledge, and we see a clean, shapely hand grab his, stopping his plunge (so close!). At this point the PlayStation buzzes, an indication that there is some CD searching happening. Then the screen flashes and we see Tifa's hand, gloved, bloodstained, and dirty.</b></div> <div> <B>6: When Cloud and Tifa are sitting on the ledge in the Crater:</b></div> <div> <B>Cloud: 'I think I can meet her there'</b></div> <div> <B>Tifa: 'Yes, let's go meet her.'</b></div> <div> <B>What the Hell is this? What are they talking about? Either Aeris, Scarlet, or Jenova, the only dead female characters. And I don't think that they want to meet Jenova or Scarlet.
